The Society of Manufacturers & Traders has released the sixth edition of its informative Towing and the Law Guide. The guide is aimed at businesses and individuals towing anything up to 3.5 tonnes and has been available in regularly updated issues since the late 1950s.
New to the guide: clear information to help ensure drivers hold the correct licences when towing and revised presentation of information about tachograph use. In addition to updated sections, the 36-page booklet covers all the ever crucial ‘need to know’ subjects- from towing regulations in Europe, to essential safety points such as the use of breakaway cables and correct tyre pressures.
